Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment for all employees.
- Lead, train, mentor, and schedule a diverse team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and performance.
- Manage inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment maintenance checks to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with management to forecast staffing needs and optimize workflow layouts.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify trends and areas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Proficiency in using warehouse software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on conflict resolution.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by business needs.
