Responsibilities
- Lead 15-20 member team in daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Optimize inventory management systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain 24/7 compliance documentation
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve throughput by 20%
- Train and develop staff on new technologies and processes
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing teams
- Generate performance reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Bilingual English/Spanish required (Miami market essential)
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent process improvement training
- Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends
