Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Optimize inventory control procedures and implement cycle counting systems
- Coordinate receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment processes
- Utilize WMS software for inventory tracking and reporting
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification a plus
