Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to create a secure work environment.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve supply chain bottlenecks and optimize logistics workflows.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate vendor repairs for forklifts and material handling systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Valid forklift operator certification (able to obtain if not currently certified).
- Strong proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven track record of leadership, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
