Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment while conducting performance reviews.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage and maximize stock accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies, conducting daily safety audits and incident investigations.
- Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze operational reports, including productivity metrics, labor costs, and inventory variance reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions as needed.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
