Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, and shipping processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to minimize accidents and ensure a safe workspace.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement inventory control procedures to prevent loss.
- Coordinate with department heads to schedule staff shifts and manage workload distribution effectively.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding orders and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or certification in Logistics/Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) and valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team under pressure.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
