Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Supervise and train 10-15 warehouse staff to ensure optimal productivity
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cycle counting procedures
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workplace
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports for management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
