Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, ensuring performance targets are met
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols and safety procedures
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize shrinkage
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop and motivate teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics or business preferred
