As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that inventory flows smoothly and our team operates at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA standards) to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage cycle counts, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize storage.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse staff and management regarding workflow, scheduling, and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class I, II, or III) is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency.
