Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and supervise 10-15 team members on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Implement inventory control systems using WMS software to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and cost reduction
- Manage performance metrics and productivity reports
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, WMS experience a plus)
- Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to complete paid training program (4-6 weeks)
- Pass background check and drug screening
