Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Verify and count incoming stock against invoices, identifying any discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare items for shipment by packaging, labeling, and placing them on pallets or skids.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery in a safe and compliant manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in strict adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in inventory audits, stock rotation, and cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and safety goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and scanning.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license (preferred for local delivery duties).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
