Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately select and package merchandise to ensure 100% order accuracy and timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free warehouse floor at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and comprehend instructions, both written and verbal.
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to the Washington, DC facility.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
