Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock appropriately.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the packaging and palletizing of orders for distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
