Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on all equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly tagging and shelving stock according to established protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the floor team to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow during weekend shifts.
- Report any mechanical issues with equipment or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current, unexpired forklift operator license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED certification.
