As a Weekend Picker Packer, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment center, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment with precision and speed. Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise according to customer orders using handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure all items are accurately labeled, sorted, and placed in appropriate shipping containers or pallets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packing to ensure high-quality delivery standards.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to meet daily throughput and accuracy goals.
- Load and unload merchandise safely using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).
- Verify order details and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with scanning technology.
