Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Trucks: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload shipments during the weekend shift.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick items from the warehouse floor and package them for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are up to date.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects and report any issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as required by the role.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and be willing to work overtime when needed.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide paid training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory handling.
- Reliability: Consistent work history and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
