Your Role
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for selecting merchandise from the warehouse shelves and preparing it for shipment. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and select merchandise from storage locations using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by checking quantity and item description against the work order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certified candidates preferred).
- Assist in loading trucks and organizing pallets in the staging area.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
