Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent operational disruptions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow and efficiency
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to maximize space utilization
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to a zero-accident culture
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed during peak periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
