Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks, ensuring all cargo is handled with care and secured properly.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting and stock organization.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
