Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Efficiently select merchandise from shelves and pack it securely into boxes for shipping.
- Inventory Accuracy: Use handheld scanners to verify item codes and quantities to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor to maximize workflow efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work scheduled shifts.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to read labels and pick lists.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time or part-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
