Responsibilities
- Receive and Process Orders: Safely and accurately receive inbound inventory and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently locate items in the warehouse and pack them securely to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize provided equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training available), to move inventory within the facility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Workspace Organization: Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe in compliance with Amazon's safety standards.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 49 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and using scanning technology.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
