Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in -20°F to 45°F storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product movement and stacking
- Conduct daily inventory audits using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP protocols for food safety and sanitation procedures
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using proper loading techniques and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on storage equipment and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass company training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring and documentation
- Ability to work in cold environments (4-8 hour shifts below 40°F)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
