Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products and materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Monitor and maintain temperature logs for all storage zones to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the inventory manager.
- Package, label, and organize stock to ensure efficient retrieval and accurate inventory counts.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desired but not required for all positions.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking software.
