Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack merchandise onto pallets or shelves within the cold storage facility.
- Monitor and maintain proper temperature logs to ensure product integrity and safety compliance.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inventory counts and verify stock levels against inventory records.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist in the packing and shipping of orders when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold temperatures (below 40°F) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Valid driver's license (for company vehicle use, if applicable).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
