Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport goods within the cold storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and temperature control standards to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of pallets and racking systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in extreme cold environments (temperatures below 0°F).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required for all entry-level positions.
