Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs to ensure compliance with strict safety and health regulations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, spoilage, or accuracy before processing.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in both refrigerated and dry storage zones.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation (FIFO), and stockroom organization.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly with or without assistance.
- Comfortable working in extreme cold environments (temperatures may drop below 35°F).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
