Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the cold storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock is organized and properly labeled.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and temperature control requirements to ensure product integrity.
- Inspect equipment and machinery for safety hazards before and during operations.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of orders for shipping to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience operating forklifts or warehouse machinery is a plus, but not required as we provide training.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment (0°F to 40°F) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for long durations.
