Job Summary:
As a Cold Storage Worker, you will be responsible for the safe handling and storage of perishable goods. You will work in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure product integrity while meeting strict production targets.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated cold storage zones.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (35°F or below) for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long hours.
- Willingness to learn and participate in mandatory safety training.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
