Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory accuracy through rigorous checks.
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily workflows, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to meet strict deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits to prevent accidents and maintain a safe workplace.
- Scheduling & Performance: Create shift schedules and conduct performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Certification: Forklift certification is required; SAP or WMS experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
