Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring inventory counts match records.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper stacking and labeling of inventory.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of goods for distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling best practices.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning and logging.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
