Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Stock Rotation: Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and delivery logs, with zero errors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners or WMS software.
- License: Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a commitment to safety.
