Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment within the facility and to/from loading docks.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain cold storage areas to ensure proper temperature controls and sanitation standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation to ensure accuracy and product freshness.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Package and label products according to shipping specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in environments with temperatures between 10°F and 35°F.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for scanning labels.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) is a plus.
