Responsibilities
- Unload and load refrigerated trucks with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain precise inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Monitor and document temperature logs in cold storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols strictly
- Operate automated storage retrieval systems (AS/RS) efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Conduct quality control checks on perishable goods
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts in 30-40°F temperatures
