Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-controlled shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality inspections of perishable goods upon receipt and dispatch
- Operate inventory management systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature, inventory, and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to 24/7 rotating shifts
