Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from storage racks and package them securely for shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized workspace, including freezer and cooler areas.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including pick lists and inventory logs, with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures (freezers and coolers).
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- License: Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Attributes: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
