As a key member of our Memphis team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment to ensure timely processing.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, count, and stow incoming inventory with high accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare shipments for delivery according to customer specifications.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Maintain Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and logs for daily operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class D) preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read and follow instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and work ethic.
