Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cold storage facility, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure proper rotation (FIFO) to maintain product quality.
- Package and label items accurately for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding cold chain management.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in extreme cold environments (temperatures below 35°F).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not required.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate warehouse equipment (Forklift certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
