Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure all materials are properly staged and organized for efficient distribution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately document and track inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Must possess valid license).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
