Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport goods within the cold storage facility and loading docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and temperature regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect products for damage or spoilage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in environments with fluctuating temperatures (ranging from -10°F to 40°F).
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and order fulfillment.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
