Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high morale and performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage and waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment maintenance checks.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns to upper management promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Certified forklift operator with a clean driving record.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software (WMS) and inventory systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
