Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inbound/outbound shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize warehouse processes and workflows to reduce bottlenecks and improve turnaround times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the routine maintenance and repair of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze daily operational reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Staff Scheduling: Create weekly shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Certifications: Forklift Operator Certification (valid) and a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management software and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
