Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to maximize space utilization.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery.
- Keep the work area clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid forklift certification is required (candidates with certification are preferred; on-site training available for qualified applicants).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory scanning and paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
