Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and shipping containers in strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any defects immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and organizing stock efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and warehouse safety.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic reading comprehension and math skills are required for inventory tracking.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Willingness to work in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperature zones.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
