As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and shipments are dispatched on time. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates, so no prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Safe Handling: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper placement on racks.
- Maintain Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure smooth operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to Certify: Must be willing to obtain a forklift certification (we assist with training).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting and organizing inventory.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read and comprehend basic inventory reports and labels.
