Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and physically counting stock.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
- Keep the work area organized and clean to ensure optimal workflow and safety.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packing, labeling, and order picking when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we provide training for qualified candidates).
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanner operation.
- Willingness to work in various temperatures and environments (warehouse setting).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
