Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requests.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of obstructions to ensure efficient workflow.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of stock movements and daily operations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to be trained on forklift operations and safety protocols.
