Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) in accordance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime if needed.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
