Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse areas to maintain optimal workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the warehouse floor and storage aisles.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to obtain a valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
