As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring that our inventory is managed accurately and our operations run smoothly. We value reliability and safety above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, sorting, and stocking inventory with high accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper labeling and packaging before storage or shipment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily operations and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous forklift experience is preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- License: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate a busy warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly organized and able to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and punctual attendance record.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to complete logs and communicate with team members.
