Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, or conveyors using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Sort, palletize, and stage products according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as directed by management.
- Inspect forklifts for defects and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CLP/OSHA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license (Class B preferred).
